Summer Swimming
Swimming is an essential life skill which encourages healthy competition, sportsmanship and self-discipline. Our emphasis is on the swimmers to strive at improving their own individual performance with each stroke.
Competitive Swimmers
Swimmers compete at an individual level in a team environment. They advance their stroke accuracy and speed as they compete for personal bests. With 6 - 8 hours of coached practice time per week, the program start on May 4th, 2009 until mid-August. Practise begins at the Cheam Pool until mid-May where we move to the outdoor Rotary Pool In addition, there are 6 - 8 weekend swim meets held at various locations within the Fraser Valley.
Registration cost: $275 plus $64 Insurance fees.
This fee includes a $60 competitive swim suit plus entry to all swim meets within our Region.
*swimmers must be able to complete one width of the pool
using Free Style strokes (front crawl)
Non-Competitive Swimmers
This program prepares swimmers for recreational swimming as well as our Competitive program. They will learn and develop competitive strokes and endurance while having fun. Swimmers can swim up to 3 hours per week for 8 weeks.
Registration: $150 plus $32 Insurance fees.
